My experience with non-leather shoes is my feet get very wet. I think it's sweat that can't evaporate. I would not buy those. For the boots, I would compare the comfort, especially on your foot that you broke. </p> <p>In another thread someone said they wanted a shoe that made their feet look more substantial. They will look fabulous with your work trousers. You don't have to compromise between refined and functional.</p> <p>I chose the oxfords, because the other pair of non-booties here is actually a rain shoe, and I think, as you suspect, they won't be as comfortable (or stylish) for indoor wear. Plus, Mephistos are great quality, and if they are comfortable for you, they will easily be workhorses, like what you are seeking. </p> <p>If you didn't go with both pairs of Aquatalia booties, then I would choose one of them plus the Munro. The Munro bootie looks a bit more refined/dressy to me than the Blondos. Or get the very most comfortable ones plus one that's quite comfortable with a style that sings to you. If you've found six winners and you have a hard time finding them, I'd strongly consider keeping a bunch. Your own description of pic 2 does not sound that promising - maybe settling because it's navy?</p> <p>I've ordered four pair of low heeded black booties, and I'm kicking myself for not ordering the black Aquatalias in a 10.5 before they sold out. (Your find 1, my find 5) Two pair I ordered in a 10, since they don't have a 10.5. So you see we are on similar wavelengths, but I am crossing my fingers for just one to work.
