There is a need for wardrobe editing and shaping as well, but we subconsciously set up the basic parameters simply by choosing what “sparks joy”. I have a huge wardrobe to cull, but the cobalt and indigo, and medium-small scale patterns, particularly paisley, that suit me well ring through as sure as if I’d shaped it that way on purpose. Suddenly I stepped back and realized I had thing going: olive and pink toppers, olive bags (added over two years), pink shoes (one pair probably five years old.)
