Empathizing and wishing you luck in your search. I learned the hard way to beware of any jeans with more than 2% stretch in the fabric and never ever to put them in the dryer.

The second outfit has the other pair of jeans I bought. These are 20-something percent stretchy. Again, I love the color and the wash, but it's bag city. (http://www.my99hangers.com/?p=41)

I feel like these are a lot cuter than the ones I wore here, (http://www.my99hangers.com/?p=24) which is funny because I originally thought the opposite. So I think the upshot is I should be looking for a very dark blue wash with no sheen to it in a straight leg.

But I need it in a material that doesn't bag out, accomodates my heavy inner thighs (seen very well in the photo in the short dress and tights), and doesn't hang off my butt.

Just thinking about the massive amount of jean shopping ahead makes me feel exhausted. But there HAS to be a pair of jeans out there that's just right for me. I hope, anyway.

I remember trouser jeans being in fashion - I kind of miss that. A nice fit through the waist and hips, and all straight down from there with no fit issues. Maybe trouser jeans are the answer????????

I have to perform this weekend, but the following weekend I'm hoping to go to the mall and have a major jeans tryon.
