I'm glad it was helpful, Joy. As a non-cardholder it can be very frustrating to see my wishlist sell out, but this seems to help me catch restocks very quickly.

Kelly, I'm wearing the small in the FP top and I'm maybe a size 6 overall. The XS might be worth a try, just be warned that the sleeves are quite long. My arms are average and there's a lot of sleeve.

MsMaven, it would be awesome if you can find some more things as they come back in stock. It's important to at least put on your wishlist what you think you might like. Sometimes colors sell out entirely and then they don't show up to be added later.

Thanks, Kate! I ordered the Fallen Fig top today, hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow when I do returns.

Angie, this is an excellent NAS! Fun things I'm excited about, and so far, easy decisions about what goes back.

Suz, I'm glad you like the reviews! I tend to write a lot about my thought process. I've been wearing Naturalizers since I was a teen (and even have some vintage 1950s ones) so I love coming home to this brand.
I'm also glad you find the strategy helpful.

Sharan, I'm crossing all my fingers that the jacket works nicely still in the shoulders and back! I figure if it's too roomy at the waist I can take in the side seams a bit. Just need it to button without gapping!

You have had a great sale so far! I agree with you on the Dolce Vita boots. They look elegant on you, with your skirt. The Free People Top and the Naturalizer pumps are beautiful on you, too. And I simply adore the jacket on you, and hope the next size works!

Ginger, your reviews and explanations are the best! The black Naturalizers are fabulous (they have some wonderful styles, I think!) and so are those DV cowboy boots. Tempting! The green top is also fabulous on you. I hope you try the other colour as well!

Ooh, I love the FP top and the bone colored boots. The DV look more refined that the BP and look great with the skirts. The ankle strap pumps are amazing as well. What a great haul. This is your season for sure! Does the FP top run true to size? I'm tempted but their sizing is always so inconsistent and I can see how that top could be unfortunate if it's too big...

I had a decent wishlist, and most of it went out of stock the week before I could order. But some things were still available, so I ordered as soon as I could, 11 PM on Sunday the 16th. Since then I've been ordering other things when they come back in. One item from the original order was canceled, but I was able to get it when it came back in stock.

Tip: Use the app, leave it open, and just refresh the wishlist every time you pick up your phone. Items back in stock are at the top. I never get email notifications and phone notifications are rare, but I snagged 6 items last Friday this way. All different times.

What I had on my wishlist:

Black closed-toe pumps, comfortable and not boring

White/light cowboy boots

Long and short sleeve basic t-shirts in pretty colors

Interesting long sleeve tops, sweaters, or jackets to go with winter skirts

The color teal

What I've found:

1. Naturalizer Evelyn pumps (pictures 1-2). These are some sexy-looking shoes! Which wasn't my priority, but I'm allergic to boring, and these are anything but. Despite being plain black leather. They are quite reasonably comfortable so far. 2 1/4" heel is a great height for me, the heel's set forward more under the center of gravity, the ankle strap fits at the right place and keeps my heel back where it should be, and the angle of the point doesn't crunch my longer third toe. They do make my foot look bigger. My feet are small for my height so that's okay. I wouldn't mind trying the Hazelnut Brown Patent ones.

2. Dolce Vita Samare cowboy boots in ivory nubuck (pictures 3-4). Initially I was shopping for the cheaper non-leather white boots, but the Dolce Vita arrived first. I'm pretty much in love. They fit my leg and foot wonderfully, snug enough to prevent sliding around. The softer color and low-contrast sole and heel work better with my outfits. I may stretch the instep height on the left boot, since my foot is quite tall there. The leather feels soft and should give a little.

3. T-shirts: So far I've gotten both the teal storm (under the cardigan in pictures 7-8) and sheer purple long sleeve t-shirts. (The purple was a whim and apparently I forgot to add the Find while it was in stock.) I'm keeping both, though I'm hoping to exchange the teal for a different size if it comes back in stock. The one I have will do okay, though. These are thin shirts but in more saturated colors aren't too sheer for me, and work great for layering with cardigans.

4. Tops: Free People long sleeve surplice crop top (picture 5). I LOVE this! It fits beautifully, with volume where I need it without being sloppy. The waffle henley-type knit is sturdy. The length is exactly what I had hoped, long enough to cover the waistband of my skirt but not ride up. I love this so much I'm considering the purple "fallen fig" color as well. It's a much softer color but has possibilities.

Still Shopping:

1. The Open Edit cropped bouclé jacket in Red Mum (picture 6). I am very impressed by this. It's a very neat fit and not at all oversized, which is usually typical of cropped items. The length is perfect with skirts, showing a bit of the waistband or belt instead of swallowing it. The shoulders, back, and sleeves fit me perfectly - ironically it didn't button well! Not a typical issue for me. I've ordered the next size up and will pick it up when I do a lot of returns at the Rack this weekend. The color is that deep salmon/coral/pink I love so much; I have cardigans that are similar but the jacket style is a different vibe. I'm hoping the medium fits well.

2. Sam Edelman teal peacoat. I drastically mis-guessed the size I need on this. So far only one has arrived and it's too small up top and a joke on the hips. (I usually have a 4-6 size difference in size charts.) I've ordered another 6 sizes up so we'll see. The color is gorgeous and the feel is good, but I've got to really like it in the new size.

Didn't Make the Cut:

1. Sanctuary Knit Pumps. I had already decided on the Naturalizer, but I don't think I would have settled for these. They're an interesting look and indeed a little more flexible, but weren't really any more comfortable than other shoes I've had.

2. I tried the BP Monikka boots in outfits last night and still did prefer the Dolce Vitas. They're not leather, and the brighter white feels more stark. I don't want the boots to be the star of these outfits. (Pictures 7-8)

3. French Connection Krista Ribbed Trim Mixed Media Turtleneck in teal (picture 9). The color was gorgeous and the fit great. It wasn't quite working with my skirts like I hoped, though. And I missed that it was mixed materials, even though it was in the title. The bodice top and upper sleeves are a thin silky-feeling material. Combined with the high, snug neck, I would be very uncomfortable wearing this. Although I run cold, I get hot very quickly in high tight or thick necks. (Possibly claustrophobia, not actual temperature.) While the thin silky material will feel cold. So it's just not a good choice for me.

4. Eliza J teal dress. I found this ran small, but I'm not ordering again. It feels nice and the colors are gorgeous. But I just wouldn't wear it much, and it's very nearly too short. 8" more and I would be tempted despite the lack of use. Yet $90 is a lot for a dress I don't adore.

Overall, this is one of my most successful anniversary sales ever. Cracking the code on getting restocks has made a big difference. The peacoat is the last real question mark; the size I think I need now should arrive Monday.
