I'm partial to the drama of all-black on you, so #2 and #4 are my favorites for the holiday looks. Love the way the lighter stripes -- and the bra -- in #2&nbsp;pick up the tones in your hair. I do think&nbsp;#1 is beautiful for a lighter, brighter look.</p> <p>This year I'm wearing my black velvet trousers with a black sequined tunic/mini-dress and the variation Carter mentioned -- a plain old V-neck sweater.&nbsp;</p> <p>I don't wear them much during the day due to the aforementioned lint/cat hair attraction factor, but when I do I tend to treat them like cords -- I think the napped texture lends itself to fuzzy/heavy knits and more rustic and/or cosy&nbsp;tops.</p> <p>Enjoy!
