I love both versions too, Elizabeth. The white is so crisp and looks beautiful with that shade of blue jeans. The plaid version is a little more casual and I love the juxtaposition with the "sparkle for day" tank. Loving the lighter-coloured and shorter do too!

I'm sorry that you missed your Christmas lunch-(

Fabulous! I love both versions on you. With your new hair, the colours and neutrals you're wearing just light you up. It's softer, brighter, livelier, fresher all round.

I have a sweater with heavy ribs that I also find PERFECT for layering a crisp button down under -- the ribs hold everything in place!

Snow day! The woman who usually takes my girls before and after school had a long awaited medical appointment this morning, so I had to stay home. The bad news, I missed out on our staff Christmas lunch. The good news, I got to try on, and photograph, a bunch of outfits I'd been hoping to find time to try.

So here we go. Take 1. Angies suggestion of a layered sparkly tank.

I don't have a sequined tank, but I do have one with some silver threads woven through it. This tank, while it has lots of room, always feels a tad small when I wear it, because of the heavy ribbing. So I didn't hold out much hope.

But I LOVED it!

1. With the new velvet Sloans
2. White shirt and jeans. Another good thing about this is that this blouse is a bit snug, and gapes at the chest, not sure why it's still in my closet, to be honest. But snug is perfect for layering under something!
2. Plaid shirt and jeans

Thoughts???
