Chat soon! </p> <p>Joy and Maureen - I think I have the same pair of Ecco sneakers as Joy, although mine are black and not metallic. Can't believe I forgot to mention these! Thanks, Joy. I took them on a trip to Quebec City and did a ton of walking in them. They're lightweight and easy to pack. I have narrow heels and low volume feet and they fit surprisingly well. They have elastic ties with a toggle that can be cinched in. A nice summer sneaker. Definitely worth a try. Comparing the two, I'd say the Taos have the best arch support. The Ecco's have good arch support and were the more comfortable of the two right out of the box. I'll attach the find below. Worn with disappearing or low Smartwool socks, they work for my lowish volume feet. I have another requirement for sneakers, especially for travel. They must be as light weight as possible. I haven't worn them yet for a full day of walking, but the reviews sound encouraging. Several reviewers said they wore them for sightseeing. The support is definitely on the firmer side. A friend has also recommended Fitflop sneakers. She said a friend of hers wore them all over Italy.
