The linen is very textured. The stripes are thicker. I had washed and dried it, and this picture was taken after sitting in it *and* wearing a seat belt. I don’t think it looks much like a tent now. BTW, my husband thinks it looks like a nightgown. The XS feels too short as Mirjana noticed, snug going over my head, and just more of a struggle getting on. When I sit, it wants to ride up. The S looks a bit like a tent, though. I think the dress is supposed to be very loose. Those that are familiar with my WIWs know that I am *not* extra small. I am 5’6”, and not thin. I think the decision is between the S or nothing.</p> <p>Karen we’ve been in a heat wave since we came back from Alaska. So far, nine days 100 or over. When you come down, come early. For the record, I have a couple of similar EF linen dresses that are my trusted fallbacks when the weather gets hot and muggy.
