I can't see the link, Lemonade. But this post might help:

http://youlookfab.com/2010/07/.....or-rolled/

Slouchy pants can work on curvy bodies if the elements are just so. I'd encourage a short or long length - cropped is always harder. Perhaps you can model them for us once you've received them?

I think it can work, just be sure it has a flat front and it hits on the ankle.. I bought a black pair very similar but it has a flat front and it hits on the ankle..

Angie, am I right?

I'm also a curvy girl, and am wanting to try this look. I am planning on wearing with a nude heeled shoe, and going for a tan type of color to minimize any negative effects.

Sorry about the link - not sure why it didn't work but the trousers are the "cropped slouchy trouser".

Not sure if I have a full length picture of myself - will have to look and if I do, figure out how to upload it to the post.

Otherwise, I am 170cm, 88kg and my measurements are chest 116cm (46 in), waist 91cm (36 in) and hips 116cm(46 in).

Thank you for the reply.

Darcy, your link didn't work for me. But it would be hard to say whether the pants would work for you without also seeing a picture of yourself.

Hiya!

I am new to the blog and forum but love the great advice here so I thought I would put my latest fashion dilemma on the forum.

I am truly a curvy hourglass shape but I really want to get a pair of the slouchy, pleated trouser that I have seen people wearing (I am liking this pair from the Gap http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....pid=770617). Because I live abroad, I almost exclusively order off-line so I won't be able to try these out before purchasing. Do you think that they would work or am I going to end up looking frumpy and like I am wearing a balloon on the bottom?

Save me from a potential fashion disaster!
