I didn't take photos as it was dark and the bathroom mirror let's just say was not ready for public viewing. I'll try to make a point to take some photos and post. I did not choose to wear them scrunched as they would never stay up and it's too trendy for me but I do like them rolled up.</p> <p>At first sight I thought geesh these are HUGE! (I ordered my regular jean size). But once I got them on with a belt they were really pretty great. VERY comfortable. Then I started trying to make a few outfits. </p> <p>Note: these pants made me feel a bit "I Dream of Jeannie" in a really good way. lol Hey, maybe that will become part of my summer style thing! I loved that show.</p> <p>Back to trying to style them -- at first I was feeling less than sure. I want these for hotter days when I don't want to wear shorts and jeans are too hot so the lighter weight and roominess were big factors. But that means a more voluminous bottom than I'm used to. I tried them first with summer sleeveless tops and they didn't feel right on the first few (the tops were rather fitted and it just felt unbalanced.). Then I started trying them with some less fitted tops, semi-tucked with various belts and WOW - suddenly I had like 5 new outfits!</p> <p>The olive green color looks esp. nice with my new red leather belt and red sandals - then on top I tried a range of different options including a white knit with thin navy stripes spaced widely apart, a liberty print off white based button down with some hints of red/navy that is not too tailored, a navy, raspberry, red and ochre floral "peasant" style top, and plain white A-line tee. All of those worked well. </p> <p>I also tried a more neutral palette with a warm gray top, brown belt and brown sandals. Then the dinner bell rang. Mmmm roasted chicken and carrots/beets from the garden.</p> <p>I think for winter I may try a brown shrunken cardi buttoned up as a sweater with brown belt and mixed came/brown shoes and maybe the beautiful silk scarf that I have yet to wear that has a combo of olive greens, browns, ochre in it. I also think these would look great with a simple black tee, black belt and black sandals. </p>
