They come up too high. When I sew, I find I need to lower the front neckline just a half inch or 3/4 inch, and then the neckline (and attached collar) will sit in the right place for me. While many collars don't work for me on shirts or shirt dresses, when I sew, I can adjust the pattern for a better collar fit. So I guess that making my own shirt dresses is a way that I could add some to my wardrobe.
