You could try to place a stitch in the hem that holds it in around your forearm just enough to stay put. I hope that makes sense. For me, the best solution usually is to tuck part of the hem in to create a "filler" if the sleeve is too wide. It works best on fabrics with a nubby/dry, not smooth texture.

For me, it depends on the width of the sleeves. Narrower blazer sleeves scrunch much better and stay put at least to some extent. Even those will fall down occasionally through the course of a day but I don't mind giving them a little push back up.

You can also roll, of course. Different look, but it does stay put.

Another trick, with those that have working buttons, is to push the sleeve up past the elbow, and then turn back the cuff one button. This seems to help anchor it a bit.

Bomber jackets often have a knit cuff -- this helps. Even my leather blazer that has a knit panel on the sleeve will stay scrunched.

The type of lining also influences things. My Elie Tahari jacket has a gorgeous lining that for some reason seems to maintain a scrunch for longer. It is thicker and even though it is slippery it is less "slick" somehow.

I used to sometimes put hair elastics inside the cuffs, but I found it uncomfortable for all day. So now I just live with my sleeves unscrunched, sadly.

For me, I think it's the shape on my forearm, plus the fact that it is thinner than what most manufacturers apparently think a size 8 top should have, so almost nothing stays scrunched on me except for very stretchy, unlined things.

Well I was as usual admiring Shannon's choices, and noticed that she mentioned sleeve scrunching. I think it photographs well, but when I do it, the sleeves rarely stay up if it is a heavier / lined fabric (such as a blazer or moto jacket.) Is there a trick to sleeve scrunching that I am missing?
