Too tall/ long for petites but short for a lot of other pieces. I like cold weather outerwear to have slightly long sleeves, because it's a little warmer. And that may be the best.<br />I agree that outerwear has a little more leeway and needs it, for laytering. Also the coat itself is nicely fitted and the sleeves are too, so it doesn't look sloppy at all, looks very nice and trim.<br />I know about holding the phone for pics, but also just evaluate it moving around, moving arms, carry a handbag--my sleeves always ride up and it's hard to find the sweet spot that looks perfect with arms hanging straight down and arms in motion. In motion the sleeve will certainly be higher. I probably would not spend any $$ to alter because it seems like it would be such a tiny change and may then look too short!
