A couple of folks commented that the buckles were cheap and came apart and a couple of comments that they ran quite narrow. These may not be "the ones". To my eye, they are not quite 'sleek' &nbsp;because, I think, of the sole. But I agree that they are a bit edgy without being OTT and look like&nbsp;a more sleek/less casual&nbsp;version of rugged than others. I love my Marcies but I just can't wear that 4 inch heel height anymore. These are Fluevog Darrin boots and I'm loving how they have a semi-pointed toe and smooth leather and overall, a fairly simple shape. At the same time, there are a few straps and buckles giving them a bit of edge.</p> <p>What do you think of these? </p>
