I automatically put it facing me, but it looks better to others if it's facing away.&nbsp;</p> <p>For the record, I am absolutely fine with my hands. Although they are not beautiful, I've always kind of liked them. They are deft and capable.&nbsp;They are, as you say, Suz, artist's hands. (Christmas present from my honey).&nbsp;It fits great and I love it. Nothing says rock n' roll like some obnoxious silver jewellery.&nbsp;</p> <p>This ring will probably be an item I wear every day, but I especially like it with the white shirt and vest I'm wearing today. I like the juxtaposition of preppy and rock n' roll. (I'm also wearing my pointy-toed Keith Richards (swordfish) boots to tone down the preppy shirt collar. I'll do a drawing later if I have time. Photos never turn out -- at this time of day, my full-length mirror is backlit).</p> <p>ETA: you can see why I never bother with nail varnish or&nbsp;manicures. What's the point of nice nails with utilitarian-looking hands like mine? &nbsp;;-)</p>
