I am 63 and my beef with almost all brands is "why are shorts and skorts so short?" I want a 19- to 20-inch skirt, not 17- or 18-inches. Athleta had a great swing skort a couple years ago that I purchased in "tall" to get the longer skirt. I love these skorts and wear them constantly. Of course, they no longer make them and they sold out almost instantly, which one would think might give them the hint that these were popular. The on-line comments often said, "I love these and purchased in talls so they would be longer." I still own two pairs at 2 y older than you and wear them on very hot days in our summer, blow other people's opinions! Sisters can be very hurtful- my younger sister has hurt me so many times over the years with clothes criticism even if she didn't say anything, the disapproving glances said it all! And I don't like some of her stuff either- I try to compliment as often as possible when I do as our styles are quite different. So unfortunately, quite often I suspect we don't actually like what each other wear. I feel like with the shorts, my personal preference would be covered shoulders T-shirt and dark sneakers, just to balance out the look a bit, but it’s already very reasonable looking.
