I like both pairs on you. They seem different enough to have both, if you like to wear the style. It's like having two pairs of jeans in slightly different cuts. They may go with the same things, but they give different vibes. Your legs look great, and the 8telier pair doesn't look at all like an apron to me. I'm with Angie--I love the long white cardi over the angled hem of the 8telier one. To me, that mix of angles and hem lengths is very attractive.

I'm with everyone here and although it's hard to see much definition in the photos (black is a challenge), I love the look and especially the 8telier pair. I'm going to have to go downtown and try them on too!

I think these look fantastic on you. Both pairs! I do see what CocoLion is saying -- maybe a duplicate? But I can also see you getting enormous use from these as work-at-home wear. I seriously want a pair.

Your legs look fabulous. No worries on that score.

I love every pairing except for the 8telier top. I am with LisaP on that one.

Both of these look good --- as you mentioned, the second pair has more "structure." The first pair have a nice soft draped effect. I like both on you, and find them flattering to your legs.

I like them both on you - no waiter vibe going on at all To my eye they are different looks altogether and if cost isn't an issue I'd be tempted to keep both. The shorter asymmetric pair are sportier and far more casual, if that's even the right word. The AllSaints version would be more suitable for wearing out to lunch, on a casual work day , out shopping etc. Not really a fan of the 8telier top though - not quite the right match for that sporty of a skirt look . Too much wrinkly draping going on that is distracting.

Oops I see you've kept the longer ones. I do like the shorter ones on you but they represent the same wardrobe tool. Might be a duplicate item.

I tend to be overly conservative and almost always vote on the side of longer is better, but the leggings with the shorter skirt look GREAT on you. They really do. Your legs do not look in any way "chunky" nor did I get any sort of waiter vibe from them. On the contrary, they are very flattering and your legs look great, and they don't strike me as inappropriately short at all (some other versions of skirted leggings definitely look that way to my eye). I vote for you to keep and wear both.

About a month ago, I bought the longer of two skirted legging choices from Allsaints. I have kept them. They have an almost pajama-like feel to them and the skirt is about knee length.

Recently Dashielle mentioned seeing skirted leggings with an asymmetrical skirt at a store (with online presence) called 8telier. I had been interested in the asymmetric kilts I saw from Tibi and maybe other designers last year but ultimately didn't bite because I thought they would open and show more leg than I wanted. So I gave these a try as well. They are a more dry feeling, structured fabric. I haven't taken the tags off because I'd like other opinions as to whether they are too short (really whether my legs look too chunky underneath) or look like a restaurant server apron. Link: http://www.8telier.com/city-sk.....ngs-black/

I'm attaching a bunch of photos. The first round is the longer Allsaints, and then starting from the teal sweater again is the 8telier shorter asymmetric. The very last picture is an asymmetric top that was merchandised with the legging skirt on the 8telier website. I'm not wedded to the styling ideas so feel free to express thoughts there! I am actually wearing the first look out on a mattress shopping expedition today. Big fun? Probably not...

But ... Keep or return the shorter ones?
