However, I consider shoes with a loafer-like stacked heel 1.5" or less to be flats, because they feel like flats to my foot. Same with platforms if the heel part is only slightly raised from the rest, though I don't really wear platforms anymore. I can't wear kitten heels at all, or anything higher than 1.5".</p> <p>Lately I've been seeking out pointy toes because I think it looks nicer than the usual ballet flat. I'm also loving the preppy penny loafer look for the first time since high school. Yesterday I picked up a pair of Toms-like shoes and plan to wear them with a skirt today. The skirt is just below the knee, so maybe that's shorter than what you're asking about. Will post a pic later! That&nbsp;is the case whenever you choose flats over heels. But I still wear flats 8 days out of 10.&nbsp;</p> <p>For footwear, it&nbsp;all comes down to personal preference, but I'd avoid anything too&nbsp;classic and traditional.
