I made a similar knit skirt a couple of years ago that's about mid-thigh, and now I regret making it that short. (I think I thought it would stretch more with blocking and wearing.) I knitted a skirt for myself (picture 1). Picture 2 is the picture from the pattern.<br /> As you can see, even though I made a test swatch, it was a couple of sizes too wide so I started all over again, making it about 2.5 inches less wide. I want to make it right this time.<br /> Which length do you think I should make it? Is this the right length or should I make it a little longer? I was thinking either this length or just to the middle of the knee caps. I think due to my short length it will be sloppy if I made longer than that. </p>
