Good point...no I can live without them and move on to more flattering skirts. I also realized during this exercise that I really don't have the right shoes for many skirts. I'll have to work on remedying that situation

Thanks very much. Is it worth getting the first two shortened as I would probably have to work from the top of the skirt since there is a pattern at the bottom?

Wonderful, Dani! Thanks for posting.

You are an hourglass and not rectangular. Rectangular body types are a lot more “angular” and “straighter”. It’s the quintessential “boyish” body. You have curves! Nicole is spot on about the length of the skirts that look best. Think twice about shortening ankle skirts though. Sometimes it does not work.

Hi Dani, you have a cute little figure goin' on there!

My two favorites were the denim and the olive green. The black one was too short, and the first two were allright, but a little bit long. I think it looks nice to show just a little bit of knee cap.

Hi! I'm going through a closet cleaning and a wardrobe personality search so I thought I would try to determine the best skirt length for me since I have some ankle length skirts I would like to shorten.

Here's a link to the pictures (password is lookfab)
http://s302.photobucket.com/al.....%20length/

Also, do you guys think I'm a straight hourglass figure? My waist isn't very defined like a rectangle but I'm a little too top heavy, I think, to fall under the rectangle category.

Thanks-Dani
