I think the scale of the embellishment, combined with the placement and the stiff fabric creates a bit of that flat effect I see in the photo (and apparently some of you see as well). And I totally get the length thing, this is my personal favorite length on myself too, and that fact alone sometimes makes skirts look like instant winners.</p> <p>But, the detailing is very graphic and somewhat harsh, too angular, for your style. I'd like to see it with an open tuxedo jacket for example. Your shell/shirt underneath could still be tucked in to show most of the skirt. Or try with a white blouse. But if your plan was to style it like this I vote nay if this is a self-concious area for you.
