Too bad more websites don't offer a side view on pics - it is always front and back but no side profiles.

Banana Republic has the martin pant in a skinny style -

I bought a black pair earlier in the year in Australia and after being initially dubious was an instant convert!!! Then in SF I bought 2 more pairs in blue and red from H+M for $15 - loving em!! Don't know if they would still have them though? They are a very lightweight stretch cotton - great for summer - but I'm finding them a bit too thin for winter wearing. I'd love to spot a slightly warmer alternative!!

There you go, Lauren. Stellar feedback from Maya and Julie.

You might be after cigarette pants. Seach for those.

Laura - I tried on a pair of Express barely boot denims and really liked the look. However, they definitely are not skinny. I don't think I saw any of the barely boot dress pants in store either but I wasn't really looking.

Ah, ok. I thought that might be the case. I think I'll have to go searching in person because I find pants are difficult to shop for online.

The barely boot is actually not skinny. It looks skinny from the front, but the leg opening is actually a little wider (wider than a straight leg, but narrower than a bootcut).

BR had some skinny/straight pants but I don't know if they still do. PPL will be the same as always. They're not true skinnies, so they will not taper at the ankle. The only exception to PPL is when the skinnies are tapered and need to scrunch at the ankle....which is obviously not a professional look.

I would definitely like to try these too. I keep meaning to but something else always gets priority. Let me know what you find!

I prefer skinny/straight leg jeans now and I want to try out the look with dress pants!

Do you ladies have any suggestions as to where to find skinnier/straighter dress pants? Express has some online but the nearby stores don't have them:

http://www.express.com/catalog.....egoryId=29

And how do pants lengths apply in this situation? **Attention Angie** =)
