These have worked surprisingly well for me, an hourglass on the more subtle/rectangle end of the spectrum. Slim fit without tapering too much at the ankle. I've worn them successful with both boots and flats but I haven't tried them with heels yet as I do not wear heels frequently.

I am an hourglass and am on the fuller/curvier end of the spectrum, so I like to have a slightly straighter cut of skinny jeans rather than being super-tapered in the ankle. I've been wearing these DKNY jeans for nearly two and a half years. I know some other YouLookFab members have *not* had good luck with the denim quality of these skinnies, but I think because I bought them a bit small, I didn't notice them stretching out of shape. (Also, I've been wearing the same pair since 2007, so I think the denim has conformed to my shape over time.) I feel comfortable wearing them with boots, heels, or flats.

I also just tried on Banana Republic's classic skinny jeans. The denim is a little thinner and they are definitely more tapered in the ankle than my DKNY jeans, so if I ever bought a pair, I would wear them only for tucking into boots and with longer tunic tops. However, they were *very* comfortable.

Shiny said in another thread that she wears these skinnies, which are also on the skinnier/more tapered side.

Any recommendations of brands for skinnies for hourglass? Any price range is okay...I am trying to at least try wearing them and they do look good on others on the forum, but I've just always read and been told that bootcut is better for hourglass figures. And if I wear anything blousy on top I feel like that makes me look even bigger.
