I have to agree with Angie (not that it's hard to do that!) that they are too short even if you don't like a scrunch.

angie...i love your ppl stick-to-itness. i think, tho, my personal preference is hit at the ankle, rather than scrunch. i have a really big thing against scrunching, tho i understand your point about visual balance.

i'll go back to trying different footwear for the pants...more for my own edification than anything else.

I tend to prefer this look longer, Rita - especially on a pretty pear. I LOVE a good scrunch. To my eye, it makes the silhouette.

But as I often say, I am *very* sticky about pant lengths. If I am not mistaken, bj111 has mentioned that she is not all that concerned about creating a long leg line. In that case, these cargos are fine. But if bj1111 were my client, we would be holding out for something longer, or tucking into boots.

FWIW, of course!!

Too short even with ballet flats or glads? How about tuck and roll boyfriend style. I am so confused. These look perfect length to me. I guess I am so used to everything being super long on me, I'm excited to see skinny pants that hit at the ankle.

The fit looks nice on both! Love the idea of tucking them into tall boots!

I much prefer the 2nd pair the zip pockets at less bulk than the pocket flaps x

Very nice and tucked into boots they will be perfect. I prefer the second pair by a small margin, they seem to flow with your body shape.

I agree, particularly the first pair. Second pair are workable IMO but I am no expert:)
Fit wise the first pair look the best but both are ok. I am not sure what season you are in but I am in Winter and I wear my skinny jeans with long boots most of the time. Long boots or even some ankle/short booties could work and hide the shorter length.

BJ I've wondered about these myself being a fellow pear. I'm wondering whether you can post some pics with the whole body? I think seeing the them styled in an outfit would be helpful to determine how they work. I think I like the 2nd ones though.

ETA: I think it's the sleeker pockets I like better in the 2nd ones.
