It's hard to tell the difference between beige and light brown for me. I looked up the definition of beige and it says a combination of light brown and grey. I love the jacket...I think the drama of the jacket stands alone--and the color is appopriate. If it was jade and that dramatic, it might be too much. I typically don't like that full a sleeve, but with the skinny jeans, I think it works very well. I feel there’s too much volume in the sleeve for petite little you. I love the dropped sleeve detail and you pull that part off well. If the sleeves were less voluminous and the colour was cream, I’d give you a 10 on that cropped coat. Same with this jacket. I wasn't intending to buy another winter jacket but DH and I walked into a Benetton and we both loved the look. However, I'm not so sure since it's light brown (see paired up with red scarf to offset the color).
