Mine were frozen off but I ended up with some pigment irregularity (they were on my neck ) which almost showed as much as the tags. What are the advantages of this procedure?

I have lots of tags and basal cells removed but frozen off. These were done by a dermatologist. For larger ones on the face I was referred to a plastic surgeon. I second Lyn that seeing your doc is a great idea.

If they are close to your eyes, I'd see your doc to see what they recommend ...

Not skin tags, but I had some last stubborn sun spots cryo'ed Thursday morning. Will let you know how it goes. Right now I feel like a leopard. ha.

Interesting. I wonder if the radio approach has any pluses or minuses compared to freezing. Mine are around my eyes so obviously I don't want to do anything that will end up looking worse than they look now.

My DH had some on his neck and the doctor froze them off. Simple procedure and no scaring that I can't see:)

I also got a few during pregnancy, and a local doc just snipped them off. It was super quick and pretty painless.

Hi Laura, I got quite a lot when I was pregnant, and they fell off all by themselves about six months later. I don't know if this is normal or not, but if they are related to hormonal changes of some kind, it might be worth seeing if they fix themselves. Or just ignore this comment if it is a long term issue!

:| we either freeze them off with liquid nitrogen, or snip them with sterile scissors. I don't know anything about the Lam Probe...

Does anyone have any experience with skin tag removal using high frequency radio technology (Lam probe)? There's a local skin care place here with a Groupon deal for this and I'm curious how it works or whether there are any downsides.
