The exact same thing happened to me once, but instead of a cab waiting for me, it was a rather impatient husband who hates nothing more than running 'late' in the world. It doesn't help matters that while I can take a good 30-45 mins to get dressed, the guy needs no more than 10mins, and then sits staring at his watch! I chose to not go back for perfume that day, and felt very conscious the entire time. It WAS a mistake. </p> <p>So, lesson learnt.
