Style varies from location to location and within the cliques on the hill (bunny-hill style is different than black diamond style). Locals ALWAYS look different than tourists because locals spend so much on equipment that not much is left over for clothes. Boarding gear differs from ski wear, so it usually is best to decide what will be on your feet before choosing your outfit. Can you find them in metallic? I could totally see that for you. But plain black slim fits? Doesn't seem right. Honestly, slim pants are made for warm day skiing. Even I bust out the heavy duty stuff for night skiing or for snowboarding. The few things I would carry would go in my jacket.
