Oh, you ladies are amazing with your foot wisdom, and I couldn't agree more. It's truly difficult for me to convert my size, because I see different charts and references on sites that don't seem logical.

It seems like I would be 38 or 38.5 and with that much variation, and how low volume and narrow feet are, it may be wise to actually try them on rather than hit or miss in the mail.

The only other brand I was considering wereSalvatore Ferragamo pumps, but the color and heel height were off.

Thank you SO MUCH for your ever present wise women advice!!! Grateful.

Those are gorgeous shoes, Vicki! Too bad about the sizing. For what it's worth, I find most comparison charts almost useless when trying to transfer between Euro and North American sizing. I find there is a lot of variation depending on the style of shoe and the country. Generally, though, I start by equating a size 8 US shoe to a size 39 Euro size, so the 37.5, in my books would be closer to a size 6.5 than a 7.5 US size. I also find that European fashion lasts from France, Spain, and Italy tend to favor a narrow, low volume foot while the comfort lines, especially from Northern European countries like Germany and the Benelux countries, tend to favor a wider, higher volume foot. LK Bennett is a fashion UK brand so I'm thinking it would tend towards a narrower last which would mean many people might want to size up. All this is a round about way of saying that, depending on the shape of your foot, you might want to try a 38.5 or even a 39 depending on how tight the shoe was on your foot. I know that my size 10.5 feet generally are happy in a 42 in a fashion shoe, but find a 41 fits better in a comfort sandal.

Those euro sizes are all over the place. I'm no help, but they look like a nice elegant pump for a low volume foot. Nice heel height, too!

I tried on some of their shoes at the boutique in Copley Place in Boston last month. I am usually a US 8.5 and 39 euro sizes. My feet are quite narrow. I found all of the shoes I tried in 39 to be tight, but was not satisfied with the fit going up a size, either, because my heels would not stay in. The sales person was giving me the line about of course they will stretch, but with shoes being non returnable once worn, and expensive even on sale, I don't like that risk to be completely transferred to me. I did like the yellow kitten heels, though.

So sad. The Amazon size chart equates 38 with a 7-8 so maybe it would work? Each brand can be so different and I think when the Brit brands translate it sometimes is off by a size one way or another because of the translation. I'm a 10-10.5 and find Ted Baker "10" fits me perfectly which is their 42 but I often take 41 or 41.5 in some others. It's trial and error with a brand until you find your sweet spot (and then they change it for each style)

Sometimes it's "sorry, not sorry" when I have to return something, but I was so hoping that this lovely pair of nude pumps, with the perfect heel height, would work. But, they were so very snug and I don't want to keep ordering half sizes online, which is what I would have to do.

I'll return to this search for nude pumps when I visit Angie and Inge in Seattle in September. In the meantime, do any of you have experience with this shoe line and sizing and whether they run small or are TTS? I ordered a 37.5 and I'm usually a 7-1/2. These were so small, I felt a 38 might not even do it.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.
