Good idea Tanya. I have those jeans! I paid a LOT more for them. I hope they work!

I have been thinking about them whole day long and decided that I'll try the second pair (in 28) first since it's cheaper. If it doesn't work I'll exchange it for the first one in 27. Does this sound like a reasonable idea?

Marianne, I am at looking at them at website called Yoox. It is a European version of Bluefly.

Angie, thank you for the advice. I am 26 in Seven for all Mankind and 27 in Paige. There's no Diesel store around. There are two pairs on Yoox that I'm looking at, the first one they have only in 27 and the second in only in 28 ( well they have them both in smaller sizes that would work for you). Oh, the first one is actually called Brucke! Here are the links:

http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/.....sr_women80

http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/.....alewomen80

I am not ordering them immediately ( done enough shopping already for this month), just planning for what I need the most when the next paycheck arrives.

You are spot on. Diesel runs very small and sans stretch. It's hard to say. I have 26’s in the one style and almost bought 27’s in another. I wear a size 25 in Seven for all Mankind and Paige Premium. Does that help?

They do not make the Diesel Brucke style anymore. That’s what I have in 26. I don’t know whether to advise you to go one or two sizes up. I’m inclined to say two, but I could be wrong. Sorry (sad face). No Diesel store nearby?

I am 26/27 and I have a pair of Diesel bootcuts in 28 that I got on sale before I knew how the sizing works. The material has spandex. They are slightly big and now that I know better I would definitely get the 27. So I think you should get 27.

That said, even in 28 they don't bag out at all, the quality is very good. May I ask where you found them?

I have my eyes on a straight legged pair ( to replace my skinnies with uncomfortable rise) on a website with not so great return policy. I know that Diesel runs smaller, but how much? I am a 26/27 ( in American brands which tend to be bigger) and am wondering if I should get 27 or 28. I used to have a pair of Diesel jeans: they were rigid ( no stretch) low-rise bootcut in 27, and they were a bit tight and uncomfortable, particularly around the waistband. But I have heard that non-stretch denim tends to run smaller anyway compared to stretch ones. The ones I have my eyes on do have stretch.

I would appreciate any input from those of you who are familiar with Diesel jeans sizing. It would be particularly useful if you compared their sizing to brands like Joe's, Seven for all Mankind and Paige. Thank you very much!
