I ran out for a quick errand and decided make a stop at J Crew Factory while I was out. J Crew closed down in my area but at least the Factory remains open.</p> <p>I found these brightly colored wide leg trousers, which tic two boxes: I’ve been searching for wide leg pants, and I’ve been wanting some colorful clothes. Pics 1 and 2 are the larger size, pics 3 and 4 are my normal, and the smaller size. The fabric has a slight stretch to it, which unfortunately contributes to the wiskering in the front. </p> <p>Pics 5/6 are how they look on the model - which is 100% different than how they look on me! They look both narrower and shorter (and I’m just under 5’8” so I’m not short!).</p> <p>Personally, I like the look of the bigger ones in front and the smaller ones in back. The fit feels perfect in the smaller size, but with the wiskering in front maybe they look too small? The bigger pair is a tad too long for flat shoes and would need tucks in the waistband. </p> <p>So what’s your advice? Bigger (1/2), smaller (3/4), or keep looking? You won’t hurt my feelings if you say the bigger size looks better (J Crew Factory sizing is all over the place). Do I hear you saying “Next!” or is one of these a winner? </p>
