I find Gap L to be a 12-14 usually (unlike some that are a 10-12) and XL can be too big. I vote try it. I might have to check my store now if it's really that cheap!

I just bought a small for $16 in-store and the armpits are a tiny bit tight. I would've preferred a medium but the small will be fine with a tank top. The body is roomy and it has a cropped look, but I think that's the way it's supposed to be. I'm able to zip it. I reliably wear medium tops from Gap.

What a great jacket! I have one of the motos, but I haven't tried the bomber. I think they're some "room" in the body, but I wonder as much about the length for you. Do they have a length measurement?

I have not seen it either - our little Gap never had hem in the store.
Can they measure it for you if you call them? Final sale is risky bwithout trying on but $20 is a great price and may be worth risking?

Marianna, I tried the Small in store. I'm usually a Medium and that's what I think I would have taken. The fabric is quilted though and a little heavier than what I wanted for the Bay Area (but very well made.) I think it runs TTS for Gap but I never had the chance to try my actual size. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Marianna, I have not seen that particular jacket, unfortunately. I am usually an L in Gap jackets the days so assuming this runs as usual for Gap I would think you'd be ok in an L as well.

Has anyone tried the Gap floral bomber (pictured in the referenced blog post)?

I found one at a Gap in my state (too far to drive) and they can ship it to me, but it's final sale (reduced to $20 something in the store). So I wouldn't be able to try it on for size first... and couldn't return it if it doesn't work!

I have a size L on hold. I think it should be okay, but any thoughts/experiences with this jacket would be appreciated! I have some XL Gap denim jackets that are too big now, so I think a L might be okay. But if it runs small, it might be too snug.

Thanks!
