Hi Peri --

Wow, the blue sweater looks great on you and with your wardrobe linchpin, the black pants.

How annoying about the sizing. This is a tough one for me because I thought the small looked better volume-wise and I prefer a snugger sleeve with a loose body, but of course if it's constricting it had to go back.

As mentioned, the M does drape pretty well around the body.

Since I know you have a small closet and are trying to not settle when it comes to purchases -- especially those with higher price tags -- guess you try what I do. Ask, "Am I way more happy with the way I look and feel in this than dissatisfied with XYZ?"

Moving on: The coral is so cool with the show-through effect. Gotta embrace the boxy with these styles!

Love the drape of the medium EF tunic. It hangs beautifully.

So glad you're keeping the coat! Life's too short to have fabric bunched under your armpits, so down with the size small. I think the medium looks really nice on you, not sloppy or oversized.

Thanks Deb, that is interesting to know. Nordstrom's "true size" told me S and that is often accurate, but now reading the reviews someone else said that too. I'm leaning towards keep.

I had to size up on that tunic. I got the same one last year but got the smaller size. I just laid last years M on top of this years L and they are exactly the same.

Yes, Rachylou, a little. Not hugely, but the bunching up under the arms feels weird and then I wiggle and adjust to smooth it out. I think over time I would be bothered by fussing over this detail for something that should feel easy and not demanding of attention. This would be something I would want to put on and feel fab, and then forget about it and go on with my day. Not feel fussy about.

So...the S is packed up and ready to return. Deciding now on a K/R of the M. Taking any opinions. I like it a lot, just want to be sure it doesn't look too big.

Both tunics look really flattering to me in the pics. Is the first uncomfortable?

Elizabeth, here is the post I made about the coat. The picture is really bad though! I look bad, it's blurry, and I don't have the light right to see the coat color and details. It really does look the color shown on the model.

I have put it on and off many times. I now think the arm holes are fine and I've just forgotten winter and coats. Hoping that's right...but wondering what the time frame for returns are! I just don't want to send it back yet.

I have similar issues with EF fit in the shoulders. This hangs well in the M because of the soft fabric - if it were a heavier sweater it would probably not look as good. Love the color on you!

Peri, I prefer the M. It has more of the drapy EF feel to it.

It seems the NAS frenzy is winding down but my items are just trickling in. Still waiting on the Pleione mixed media tunic. Some things went right back but some I need help on!

Pics 1-3...EF tunic in S. I would choose this fit except for one thing...it kind of bunches up under my arms. Tried to show that in pic 3, isn't it weird how the front facing camera changed the color?! It does feel fitted under the arms but I'm not sure if it's that or my ITness or the girls making it bunch up.

Pics 4-6...EF tunic in M. Doesn't do the bunching so I would choose this one for comfort, but does it look too big?

I didn't style either because I wanted to show the fit clearly. I put on the pendant for the M just to be able to tell the pictures apart. IRL I have any number of necklaces and scarves that I'd put with this, and mostly wear with black trousers since Angie says it is cool to mix ink blue and black!

But...you can tell me not to keep either if you see fit problems!!

Pic 7 I'm keeping for sure. I've wanted one of these since Mo and Diana showed something similar with the VC striped tube skirt. This hits on all points: open knit sheer stripes, happy color, and $25 is a cheap way to try this trendy open knit. I hope the boxiness doesn't look too IT on me.

And...I'm keeping the coat!
