I like your colorful photos and the outfits you’ve chosen for Singapore. I haven’t been there in years but I do remember it’s hot and humid!

Great to see you post again, Lynne! You look fab, and the poses are fab! The outfit in #3 is my fave :)

And what Suz said! The Sarong Kebaya is extremely elegant and practical for that part of the world.

I love Singapore! Extremely colourful and full of pizazz. VERY clean, beautiful, and with the very best food. Have been there sooo many times, and miss it. My brother used to live there. The weather is relentless, but the awesomeness of the city makes up for it!

Glad you had a fun trip with family!

Interesting window in #1. Gorgeous skirts and I like how they are styled.

Thankyou, All, for your thoughtful feedback.
@zaeobi I was looking at Bonito in the mall today - it was certainly lovely but small sizes :).
@Janet it makes so much sense, doesn't it?
The crossbody bag is from Kettlewell, they have silver and bronze, too:

Love your playful poses, you look casually stylish in those stretch denim skirts and colourful linen tops. Crossbody bags are essential for me as well. Beautiful sarong kebayas.

Adorable poses! You look comfy active chic. Singapore sounds fascinating, and I love those batik skirts — patterned skirts with solid neutral tops, especially white, seem so natural for hot summer. Thanks for sharing!

Singapore is pretty, isn't it? Appreciated how *clean* it is everywhere too!

Those blues look lovely on you - the powdery light ones especially! If you're interested in that 'structured neutrals for hot weather look', I believe the Singaporean brand Love Bonito now ships internationally: https://www.lovebonito.com/intl

Not every garment is size inclusive, but I suppose that reflects the demographics there.

The denim skirts, linen tops, and sneakers look perfect for sightseeing. Stylish and comfortable! My matchy matchy self adores that you have gold sneakers with a matching gold crossbody bag! I have found my gold slip on sneakers are quite versatile and elevate every outfit.

I'm spending a week in Singapore with my son and his girlfriend, who are returning from a semester studying in Miri, Malaysia. It's so lovely to see them!

Singapore street style seems in keeping with Singapore's orderly, modern vibe. I'd describe it as modest, neutral colours, semi-fitted to loose fitting, and everyone is impeccably groomed, even in the heat and high humidity.

I'm really happy with what I packed for the week: 2 stretch denim skirts, one wide leg cotton pants, 5 loose linen tops, cotton camis, one pair of sneakers and one pair of sandals, a cross-body bag and of course, a hat and sun-glasses. I used the hotel laundry service the first 2 days so this has been plenty!

Here are some WIWs in front of some of the colourful older buildings, and the beautiful Sarong Kebaya that some women still wear and on which the Singapore Airline steward uniform is based. The skirt is typically batik, and the semi-fitted blouse is typically held closed by 3 brooches connected with a chain - so beautiful! You can read about it here: Kebaya: knowledge, skills, traditions and practices - UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage https://share.google/DzoHy3aW4LYxQtvtD
Thankyou for looking!
