Y’all don’t make these things up all the time? </p> <p>The idea of two different looks with items that are quite similar kinda gets at a thing I’ve noticed lately about my style, particularly in summer. I think I follow pretty much the same rules as everyone else, but with color and pattern—my colors and patterns that appeal to me (no heavily rule-based patterns like polka dots, stripes, or plaids). For a lot of people here, the simple presence of those two elements seems to throw my summer style into a whole different space, an MMA arena where there are no rules. I think your daughter did a similar thing with your two outfits with similar pieces that have different details.
