My favorites are 1, 3 and 4-5, 7.&nbsp; What is useful for me is the high waist which allows me to wear a shorter welted sweater untucked; with skirts with no waistband or low-riding waist, I can't keep midriff covered.<br />Next is a tulle skirt from Garnet Hill for my fantasy lifestyle.(YLF does not allow Finds from GH). I'd been seeing this for several years but I just bit now for some reason and thought of it as "tulle lite" so I might be able to wear, to a wedding or some such. Shown all with PG ankle strap shoes in "truffle", sort of a gold-tan, with AT short sweater, Talbot burgundy cashmere, or the JC gray Tilly sweater. What would help is if I had another option in a lighter weight cropped knit top, such as a linen knit, for a warm-weather&nbsp; option.&nbsp;<br />Finally, what I call the "cobbler's apprentice" outfit, trying an EF boiled wool vest. I confess I really like it, but am I going somewhere weird with this outfit? I'm sure I have broken the rule of 3rds at least.&nbsp; I do have EF goggles--you may not be able to tell, but it has a 2-way zipper, so I have unzipped the bottom a few inches. Most EF longer items are too drapey for me, and I had never found "my" long vest--the gillets featured were often too overwhelming for me-- but this has a combination of softness + some structure. It could be worn to work but is not too fancy to wear casually with jeans. I have styled it here with one of my few pairs of "skinny" pants but I think could wear with a slim straight trouser. Also with cropped pant, but would veer into seasonally confused for me at some point.</p> <p>This is a kind of outfit lab, so any comments or suggestions are welcome. Thanks for reading! </p>
