The Frye oxfords, for example, are very cool looking, but stiff and uncomfortable. And you can also see how varied the greys are, from nearly white, to tan, to charcoal. Because of that, some don't get worn much. Cool greys are best for me. Grey footwear seems to be in now, but a few years ago it was very hard to find, and when I saw something I thought I'd better get it. It includes both grey and metallic. Since then I've added some grey t straps (#2), and a few pairs of sandals including charcoal EF suede flats (#3), Johnston &amp; Murphy flip flips in both silver and grey (#4), charcoal Birkenstocks (#5), also Frye boots (#6), Timberland boots for birding in winter (#7), and finally a pair of light grey snakey Naots (#8). This probably seems ridiculous, but I rarely wear other colors, although I did get a pair of navy booties last fall, and I also have navy Timberland boots. But I don't wear black and rarely wear browns/cognac, etc., so this is it. </p> <p>Amy, thanks! I was browsing on Zappo's website and found these silver oxfords- Summit by White Mountain Dawson. They are beautiful. They are soft. They are not a K/R - I'm keeping them!!!</p> <p>I also found a Fitflop silver slip on - Superskate. They are very comfy. They have the dreaded marshmallow sole, but I think they're kind of cool. Am I delusional?
