He's been home for a week, but today we officially moved him out of his dorm.</p> <p>Unfortunately, this afternoon his girlfriend (first love) of 1.5 years also broke up with him. He's devastated.</p> <p>Silver lining? We're here for him as a family in a way we couldn't be if COVID hadn't reared its ugly head. He agrees! Someone to tell you what to do, something to do, and the satisfaction of checking something off the list that you controlled. Spring has sprung and the sun is shining, which helps. Working from home is the same - just not seeing clients and being social. It's no problem.&nbsp;</p> <p>Our views continue to inspire. Making art and walking are both very therapeutic. Particularly around the water, where I've been making a lot of new abstract water reflection images (2, 4, 5). The boatyards and marinas are peaceful this time of year, before the warm weather really starts (pic 3 is the underside of a boat in dry dock). I also took a short walk in the park.</p> <p>So far this rain seasons we've had a little over 10" rain, but since yesterday we've had 2" with more expected this week.</p> <p>Today since it's raining, I cleaned out 2 bathroom drawers. Embarrassed to say I can't remember the last time I cleaned the cosmetics drawer. Soap and hot water, clean liner paper. Why do I have 4 lip pencil sharpeners? And how long should we keep lipstick? Someone once told me 6 months. Mine are all years old.</p> <p>Also found an unopened box of 24 Wet Wipes singles, "Better than hand sanitizers," they say. I must have bought them for a trip. Also 2 unopened boxes of Lens Wipes I didn't know I had.</p> <p>DH made healthy whole grain muffins from scratch using a recipe he altered. He’s been at this job a year, after a few months of unemployment - his business, advertising, can be fickle. Hopefully that will come through once life starts up again and we feel comfortable traveling the city to look at places.
