Although often the search for non- gappy is for skirt outfits , I am finding it takes a good ankle- calf fit to wear pants OVER the bootie if the pants are even straight, let alone slightly tapered, or the pant legs won't settle back back down over the boot after I sit or move around. So that's become almost a HEWI thing to avoid wardrobe malfunctions wher my pants are hiked up. Sayin' that because the fit on these boots is now my target even for wearing under pants.
