Thanks everyone for the insight. Like Janet and Approprio I'm sick of the treadmill and prefer to just please myself. I suppose a signature style does take stress off the treadmill. But how do you keep a signature style without being dated. I used to like stevie nicks signature look...long Prairie dresses of lace etc. I reckon if she's still dressing like that she'd look dated. And you're right Rachylou...a hairstyle is not a whole signature look however I do think Anna Wintour does have a definite signature style. That said, as I age I find this treadmill of change ever more absurd.
