I am currently using them as lightweight outerwear as we are still having mild temps here in Connecticut. I prefer them to jackets right now as they are easy on/off and can be thrown in a tote when it warms up later in the day. But I can see that these pieces will in winter be very practical as a way to keep warm in my drafty home office. They are a nice alternative to cardigans.
