I put a cheap foam insole in, which I always do, and they are fine. As I said, they're quite lightweight. They come just above the ankle and there is plenty of gap there. It doesn't bother me because I only wear them beneath pants.</p> <p>ETA: I just noticed you said you wanted grey! Even harder to find, but the Bardots do come in grey.</p> <p>Another edit: the description says they're lined with fake fur. I suppose strictly speaking that's true, but I would more call it "fuzzy fabric". They have to be dressy enough to wear to work and have decent traction for snow.
