The 4 in the classic fit Kensington allows layers more comfortably than the 4 in slimfit Newforest or Queenshouse where I need a 6 for layers or 4 without. I'm wondering whether to get roomier style in 4 or fitted style in 6 or fitted style in 4 &amp; wear with only 2 thin layers. The Kensington 4 has roomier body while maintaining shoulder seams for a 4. I hear how everyone loves the way their Burberry fits which is one reason they think it is worth the price. A water resistant cotton kind with a slim fit. I preferred the look with an underlayer and cashmere sweater which is as thick as I layer under my wool coats, too. I wouldn't say it was a size up, though. Layering under a trench depends on the roominess of the underarm area.
