I actually find the nylon band a little dressier because it has a gold tone to it and at first glance looks metallic. I also have a silver band and face cover to change the gold to silver that I bought inexpensively on Amazon. The face cover looks pretty cheap if you look too closely, but the band is so bright and silver that the overall look is pretty nice, I think. I don't wear much silver, so I just put that one on from time to time. I'm looking forward to getting more bands over time and I enjoy changing the faces according to my mood or the style of the band or how dressy or casual the occasion is. I LOVE my watch, and am very happy I got the larger size. I tend to wear my brighter colours in the spring/summer and those bands look a bit more casual to my eye. I actually saw someone war on white and one black side and it looked awesome and interesting, so lots of options. You may want to start with a few basics and then see how much you switch it out. I do wear bracelets on the same arm and also frequently wear sleeves.
