I have a bob without the fringe and like to wear it shorter in the winter when I wear more high necked clothing and scarves and longer in summer when the heat can make me want to pull it back. When I wore my hair in a bob, I went SLIGHTLY longer than chin length in the front to elongate my face and had them cut the back shorter so it was angled. I love the lightness of shorter hair. But it's a deeply personal choice.
