If it's too tight, it makes my thighs look dimpled (which they're not), and it makes my calves look sausaged. So, I like to have a little breathing room between me and my white jeans--but like you said, not a whole size larger or anything--they still need to fit snug to look their best--but they can't be too tight. I suppose if you're rail thin, tight white jeans might look better than looser ones. All white jeans have fit me slightly differently than their blue denim counterparts. I even tried the white COH Ambers on, and they were different than the blue COH Ambers. I think it has something to do with how they treat the fabric to make it white. I still liked the way the white Ambers fit and felt, so I am thinking of picking up a pair.
