I wore it cross body and it hit me on the high hip. Long enough for me. For a shoulder bag, it would be fine. It isn't adjustable for the long strap.  Like I said, I prefer mine as a clutch or wristlet anyhow. I have that one.  Angie recommended it.  I passed it by at first, but it kept haunting me.  I had to buy it.  I got it with one of their Wednesday 40% off full price coupons that I get from being on their email list. It is great! Soft. A gorgeous muted metallic.  Convertible. And slightly oversized.  I love it.  So my answer is OF COURSE! Then we can be twinnies!  BTW, for kid wrangling, I just took the shorter strap and clipped it onto the same side with both clips, converting it from a clutch to a wristlet. It works great! Much easier than trying to deal with it on the loose.  For date nights, it is perfect as a large, soft clutch.
