Knee length skirts with boots is a fairly sophisticated look in my opinion. Now a ruffle tiered mini with Ugg boots is another story. Can I wear these short boots with this skirt and bare legs? Or is it too MDAL (mutton dressed as lamb) and/or too WDAG (whale dressed as gazelle) of a look best left to the younger (I'm 44) and slimmer (I'm solidly plus size). I know shorter tops are best with skirts, but they don't do me any favors. I won't leave the house for a while so feel free to critique. I picked the black vest because I wanted to wear my new black watch. If this outfit works, would you suggest the black/grey or off white bag (my only 2 bags). I also still have my old/trashed brown baby bag/tote I guess I could use. NYDJ denim skirt, Ann Taylor tiger sequin tee, Sysan Lawrence draped vest, Mia boots, Michael Kors watch.
