They used to be great for my kids shoes when they were little, especially when they needed dedicated gym shoes with velcro fastenings. And I have had a few cute pairs from there in my day although I prefer leather whenever possible and hadn't been shopping there in a while. I liked that they had cute styles for good prices. But in NZ the recent ones that have failed just charged too much in my view for what the stuff was- you're making in China but you want how much for it? The shoe store was a bit different- it was a high-end one of about 30-40 years that imported from Europe but the owner was older and I think he had too much competition in recent years from newer more styly brands also doing that. I think he catered too much to the older elegant woman- who are a disappearing breed.
