You seem to have found a way to make them work for a variety of situations.<br /> I would certainly not cull them before having a good replacement in my hands and if you really want to, then at least do it one by one, let the least favorite pair go first.</p> <p>Of course, my views have to be taken with a pinch of salt. I'm still devoted to my skinnies, partly because the right new BFs for me have not found me, and I may find myself in the dated territory in no time, but why fix something that's not broken. I bought them 3 or 4 years ago. One is a bit tight and the other has been such a wardrobe workhorse it is nearly worn out. I live in them in winter. As comfy as tracky pants for around the house as a SAHM and can be quickly transformed with a coat and boots for school pick up.</p> <p>But are they on the way out, fashionably speaking?</p> <p>Although I am no longer strictly following 12 in 12 (though I haven't gone over it either) I am trying to buy more ethically which means I would be paying a lot more than the $20-$30 a pair I paid last time. Naturally I am weighing up each purchase carefully.</p> <p>Would love your opinions! </p>
